  • Working Week: Monday-Friday, weekends may be an option. Minimum of 35 hours per week but potential for more. Approx. 8am-4pm but hours will be confirmed by contractor after successfully passing the Stage 1 & 2 Interview.

Brief Description

We are looking for Enfield borough residents who are interested in completing a Level 2 Carpentry and Joinery Apprenticeship. The successful candidate will spend 24 months working as a Carpentry Apprentice as part of the CITB Shared Apprenticeship Scheme. Employed by Evolve Apprentices while earning a wage, gaining experience, and a qualification.

Qualifications Required

English GCSE G/1 or above (or equivalent)
Maths GCSE G/1 or above (or equivalent)

Skills Required

Communication skills, IT skills, Attention to detail, Organisation skills, Presentation skills,

Training to be Provided

Apprentices without level 1 English and maths will need to achieve this level prior to taking the end-point assessment.

Future Prospects

Upon completion of this apprenticeship, you can progress into the Level 3 Advanced qualification or work as a qualified Junior Carpenter where, with more experience, you can look to progress into a senior carpentry position, site/contracts/project management, self-employment, or carpentry business owner.
You will be eligible for the Skilled Worker (Blue) CSCS Card after the level 2 qualification

Vacancy Detail

Alongside general labouring, Carpentry Apprentices can work in the below stages of a project.
- First fix carpenters build framing and first fix work such as floor structures & walls, and bulkheads
- Second fix carpenters work on the final product such as doors, architraves, skirting boards, shelves, stair handrails, and balustrades
- Final assembly on joinery items and other cabinetry
