Brief Description

We are looking for Brent residents who are interested in completing a Level 2 Carpentry apprenticeship. The successful candidate will spend 24 months working as a Carpentry Apprentice as part of the CITB Shared Apprenticeship Scheme. Employed by Evolve Apprentices while earning a wage, gaining experience, and a qualification

Qualifications Required

English GCSE G/1 or above (or equivalent)
Maths GCSE G/1 or above (or equivalent)

Personal Qualities

Able to work on site, Not affected by saw dust CSCS card, Living in Brent

Training to be Provided

Apprentices without level 1 English and maths will need to achieve this level prior to taking the end-point assessment.

Alongside general labouring, Carpentry Apprentices can work in the below stages of a project.
- Formwork carpenters make formwork that concrete is poured into
- First fix carpenters build framing and first fix work such as floor structures & walls, and bulkheads
- Second fix carpenters work on the final product such as doors, architraves, skirting boards, shelves, stair handrails and balustrades
- Kitchen fitters, as the name suggests, fit kitchens and other cabinetry
