Brief Description
We are looking for Ealing borough residents who are interested in completing a Level 2 Property Maintenance Operative Apprenticeship. The successful candidate will spend 24 months working as a Property Maintenance Operative Apprentice as part of the CITB / Flexi-Job Shared Apprenticeship Scheme. Employed by Evolve Apprentices.
Qualifications Required
English GCSE G/1 or above (or equivalent)
Maths GCSE G/1 or above (or equivalent)
Personal Qualities
Able to Work on Site, Team worker.
Skills Required
Communication skills, IT skills – proficient with using Microsoft Excel, Attention to detail, Organisation skills, Presentation skills, Team working, Initiative, Patience
Training to be Provided
Apprentices without level 1 English and maths will need to achieve this level prior to taking the end-point assessment.

This apprenticeship covers multiple trades and is a good entry level, multi-trade role into construction that can allow for progression into specific trades you may not already qualify for.
The job role of a property maintenance operative involves the following duties:
• Learning basic skills in multiple trades such as maintenance painting tasks, maintenance tiling tasks, maintenance plumbing tasks, electrical testing and repairs, maintain heating ventilation and air conditioning plant, and internal and external building fabric maintenance
• Ensuring properties meet H&S regulations; Learning and working within construction H&S policies
• Working with various trade teams on site in a supporting role
• General labouring and tidying on site
