Brief Description

We are looking for Tower Hamlets borough residents who are interested in completing a Level 3 BS Engineering Craftsperson apprenticeship. The successful candidate will spend 36 months working as a Mechanical Engineering Apprentice as part of the CITB / Flexi-Job Shared Apprenticeship Scheme. Employed by Evolve.

Qualifications Required

English GCSE C/4 or above (or equivalent)
Maths GCSE C/4 or above (or equivalent)

Vacancy Detail

A craftsperson undertakes the planning, installation, testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and decommissioning of systems heating, chilled water, hot water, and cold-water systems.

• Planning, designing, monitoring and inspecting systems; designing site-specific equipment as required
• Ensuring that the design and maintenance of building systems meets legislative and health and safety requirements
• Designing systems with the aid of computer-aided design software
• Install and test pipework systems and components for cold water systems, hot water systems, heating systems, and chilled water systems
• Carry out pre-commissioning work, along with de-commissioning and dismantling the system pipework and components
This apprenticeship may involve aspects of Domestic Plumbing work on site but limited/no gas work.
